Pharmexcil Launches India Pavilion at PHARMACONEX 2024 to Boost Global Pharma Presence

The Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council of India (Pharmexcil) has unveiled plans for the India Pavilion at PHARMACONEX, set to be held from September 8 to 10, 2024, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC) in Cairo.

PHARMACONEX, recognized as a key pharmaceutical event in North Africa and the Middle East, serves as a pivotal platform for global pharmaceutical companies to unveil their latest products, innovations, and technologies to an international audience of industry professionals.

Udaya Bhaskar, Director General of Pharmexcil, emphasized the significance of PHARMACONEX for Indian pharmaceutical firms, describing it as an unparalleled opportunity to engage with industry leaders from across the globe and explore new avenues in the North African and Middle Eastern markets.

To streamline the stall allocation process, Pharmexcil has moved reservations online, with a deadline of July 3, 2024, for payment completion following reservation. Bhaskar underscored the importance of timely payment to secure reservations, noting that cancellations are not permitted once a stall is allocated.

The India Pavilion, strategically positioned at the center of Hall 4, aims to maximize visibility and foot traffic. This prime location is designed to enhance the presence of Indian companies and facilitate productive interactions with potential clients and partners.

PHARMACONEX 2024 is anticipated to host over 300 international companies and attract more than 8,500 visitors, offering extensive networking opportunities and potential for business growth within the pharmaceutical sector.

Pharmexcil has secured a 144 square meters space for the India Pavilion, divided into 9 square meters stalls equipped with essential furniture for a professional setting. This setup aims to provide Indian pharmaceutical companies with a prominent platform to showcase their products, foster client relationships, and pursue business opportunities in North Africa and the Middle East.

Bhaskar also clarified that due to the event not being sanctioned by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, no MAI (Market Access Initiative) assistance will be available. Nonetheless, he emphasized the strategic importance of PHARMACONEX 2024 in boosting exports to Africa and the Middle East, urging Pharmexcil members to participate actively.

PHARMACONEX 2024 promises to be a pivotal event for Indian pharmaceuticals, offering a gateway to expand market reach, forge partnerships, and showcase cutting-edge innovations on an international stage.
